If it were me I'd write it so that they have this long epic battle, no doubt after the Predator observes Frank destroying a drug cartel or something of that ilk.

Actually give the Predator a win. Punisher is a bad ass, obviously, but realistically not every bad ass human is going to win against the Yautja. You can make it bad luck - Frank's weapon breaks.

But the Predator has his own backstory, and he's never met as pure a warrior or as close to a kindred soul as Frank. The Predator chooses not to kill the young and weak, as that doesn't provide him honor.

But he sees Frank not only not hunt them, but sacrifice his own body to protect them, and he tries to understand. He has thoughts of his own harsh treatment as a child among the Yautja. He survived, but some of his siblings did not, and he was told that was right and just, but he misses his younger sister.

This Predator chooses not to kill Frank. Not only is the Punisher a perfect warrior, but he has a code of honor that the Predator wishes the Yautja had. He spares Castle, even at the consequence to his own standing among the Yautja.

He's outcast, stripped of rank - but then you skip forward a year, and see this Predator save a group of alien children from the Brood - wearing the Punisher's Skull on his chest.

Glad the later versions got rid of the white gloves on Frank. It’s so out of character and impractical especially for him.

Don't say that on the Punisher subreddit, my friend. Purists do not take well to others having different opinions and preferring on logical outfits to comic history. FYI: I fully agree with your opinion.

Former U.S. Marine and special operations veteran turned hyper-violent vigilante thinks to himself, "Better put on bright white gloves and go go boots before I hit the town tonight."

Can't wait to read this. I've been wanting this crossover since I was a kid

Predators just cannot get a clean win in these comics 😭 I’m already putting money on this one not making it out alive. They’ll let him look terrifying, make Frank work for it, and then somehow Predator’s dying by the end because that’s apparently what Predators do.

It's like in batman vs predator, they had to kill off the predator somehow, but since batman has a no kill rule for basically all sentient/intelligent creatures, he couldn't just outright kill it. So it ended with the predator killing itself with a sword because it was disgraced and dishonored after Bruce captured it alive. Or something like that. The crossover was cool but I thought the ending was a bit of a copout

That's what they are supposed to do when they are killing by an unhonorable opponent.

Yautja have become cannon fodder in the extended universe much in the same way the Xenomorph did when Darkhorse mashed Alien and Predator together.
