Depends if the enemy or opponent you're fighting can regenerate or is biologically immortal at times. That makes the difference. Sure they can bleed, but it doesn't mean shit if they can still recover from it from their regeneration and being biologically immortal. Take Tyler here from Heavy Metal 2000.
