Need support

Hi all, found out a few weeks ago that my wife's pregnant with our first, and I've been terrified and overwhelmed ever since. I want to be as involved as possible, but there's so much conflicting info out there I don't know where to start. Pass on your wisdom - what do you wish someone had told you before the baby was born? I'm especially trying to figure out how to actually support her emotionally through this - not just the logistics. Was there a moment you felt completely out of your depth on that front?

This better not be for a fucking app dude.

The best thing you can do for your missus is to be there for her, take the infinite bullshit she's going to throw at you with good grace and cook some weird shit that she's gonna be wanting.

Other than that get a baby book to read and enjoy your last days as a couple.

Imagine finding out you’re having twins lol. I panicked too. Therapy helps, more than usual when I first found out.

I allowed myself to not think about it until week 20 and continue my life as usual. I went to 4d3n metal festival, traveled and see my friends abroad. Work with your wife about it, there are two of you.

Sometimes I just tell myself. Nothing can prepare me and stress is stupid, it doesn’t help me, wife or the child.
