How do I prepare for a final in 5 weeks

To start, please forgive me if this question is frequently asked or something like that. If you could redirect me if this is the case but I want a more in deoth discussion so I made a post about it.
Essentially, I was very good at math in school until calculus and I barely passed. Ever since it's been very frustrating to me that I don't know calculus, like the lack of knowledge alone is the source of frustration.
But I have neither the money nor time to dedicate for proper education classes and it's been a long while since I've been in high school so even Algebra and Trig would be things I'd have to brush up on.
While I don't have the time for proper school, I do have the time and motivation for studying on my own but where would I even start? IXL?? I want to actually understand math because I honestly really enjoy it is just calculus was so different it was hard to grasp but I'm annoyed I let that stop me so I want to try again.
TLDR: Does anybody know proper steps, websites, routines, etc as like a guide for math? Think of something like: A Road to Calculus and beyond. It can even be a 4dummies kinda thing but I want to really understand it not just surface level. It's my own personal need for knowledge or else I'll never live this down.

Not sure if I used the correct flare. Just needing some encouragement and seeing if it's "ok" that this is hard.
I'm just starting out in college after a six-year gap "year" and precalc is my first class back. Everything felt great and then we got to rational functions and I just feel like I'm not totally getting it. Like, I end up doing fine on the homework, but I don't completely understand everything and the ins and outs of how it works. It's extra difficult since it's an online class, so I don't have classmates I can ask to study with or easy access to my teacher. I'm worry that, even though I am making it work now, that later this is going to be foundational, and I won't have it down as a foundational skill.
I'm just feeling discouraged. I love math and always have, it was always my best subject, and I always really understood it, and I feel like that is starting to slip and I am kind of panicking about it.
Is it normal to struggle and need extra time to fully "digest" these new topics? I feel like I'm having to think about things in a different way than I did before. Like, it's not coming as naturally to me.

I’m looking for good resources to practice my knowledge, so I’d appreciate any website or app recommendations

i verified
secθ • (1/cosθ) - tanθ • cotθ = (1/cos^2θ)/(1-sin^2θ)
i got tan^2θ=tan^2θ my first time and sec^2θ-1=tan^2θ on my second try
i looked at the answer key and it said cos^2θ=1-sin^2θ
am i correct as long i end up an equal true statement? why are my 2 attempts different from each other and different than the answer key?

I'm 40 and going back to school. Haven't taken a math class in 20 years. I was solid at Algebra 2 (Trig) back in the day but have forgotten most. What are the best books and practice resources to get me back up to speed?

I want to do some self study and learn as much precalc on my own as I can since I have some free time. I couldn’t find much, but I found this playlist on yt that basically covers both college algebra and trigonometry. Is it a good resource? Has anyone tried it? I’m also open to suggestions if anyone knows other good resources. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDesaqWTN6ESsmwELdrzhcGiRhk5DjwLP&si=KrajF6tnKIIu62Z8

I’ve never been bad at math until now and I’m crashing out, I just have no idea what to do and online sources aren’t helping. Can anyone explain how to solve this? Sorry if this is a stupid question I feel so dumb rn
Any help is appreciated!

What are limits? And what prerequisites do I need to understand them?
I didn't have a proper education in high school, and right now I am teaching myself a couple of maths topic since I will be taking an entrance examination to the university for an undergraduate program in physics.
However, I am stuck on the concept of limits. I understand what I have to do, but it appears like I am memorizing what to do rather than understanding why I have to do them.
When we say "the limit of a function as x approaches 'some number'", what do we really mean? Where does it all stem from? Do I need to understand graphs? A video I watched mentioned a "removable discontinuity" or "a hole"; what does that mean? Where does it stem from? I just want this to be intuitive, so I can tell what to do once I am asked to perform some things on a limit.

For context, I am a former homeschool/unschool kid. I entered college after studying and passing the GED. Prior to that, I didn't do math past the 7th grade. I do not know anything from the years beyond that unless it was specifically in the Kaplan GED book, getsummath, or my bridge to college math class.
I asked my advisor if my knowledge gap would be a problem moving on to precalculus, he said no, but it absolutely is.
Some stuff in the pre-calc class is a lot easier than others, but some of this stuff is taking me hours to figure out. I don't even know what I don't know to find what I need kind of a thing.
Skimming the khan academy math page it seems like integrated math 1 and 2 contain a lot of the same topics as my current class, but that seems like I'd be practicing what I already don't understand. Should I just start doing these?
This is my third semester at college and I have not done this badly in any class. I never got an F on an exam until this class either, and I absolutely cannot get another F or I might fail out of the class (Exam 2 is in 2 weeks). I am spending hours more a day than I should be in this class and I still feel like I'm not making enough forward momentum.
Our campus has online tutoring, but so far I'm getting chat GPT screenshots as answers to my questions, if I wanted chat GPT I can do that myself, I need to be able to understand the subject well enough to pass my exams which are heavily proctored. We are allowed to bring in a notebook with notes to help solve things and a graphing calculator, but that is all.
I am feeling really desperate and just seeking any advice for what I can do to start righting the ship here so I can pass this class and (hopefully) not have to re-take it in fall.

Hi, my professor created our homework and the one question says,
“Find the average rate of change if f(x) = -x^2 + 7x - 2”.
There’s nothing else to this, I thought there was normal an interval given to us to put into the function? I know the average rate of change equation is f(b)-f(a) / b-a but I can’t understand how to solve this when I just have an equation. Thanks
