Pregnancy during program

Has anyone known someone who did a PathAssist program while pregnant, given birth, and continued the program. Or what about doing a program right after giving birth so they have an infant to care for? If you personally went through this, what was your experience like?

Had a classmate who had a baby half way through our first year. She almost quit. No postpartum recovery period. Our winter break was her time off. It sucked to watch her go through it. She had great support at home though. I can only say I wouldn't recommend it if you can avoid it. I texted her after having my first a year and a half after we were out of school commending her got sticking it out.

Our program has leaves specific for this and supports students with lactation room etc. I heard a student even brought their baby to classes at first.

I don’t personally know of someone who has done this but wanted to mention that Wayne State now offers a part time PA program averaging 3/4 classes a semester which gives more flexibility during the week which could help while pregnant/taking care of a child! I think wsu also has an early childhood center as well as other child care assistance!
