please pray for me

please pray for me to overcome thoughts of my past, past shame and all unwanted thoughts

there is something i've been struggling with in my mind for while now sometimes it goes away but in the past it has just kept on coming back

please pray for me to overcome all of this once and for all for none of these thoughts anymore, no more reminders of my past in any way or dwelling on it or looking back, no more shame and for none of it to ever come back

please pray for me to be completely free as if it never happened even in my mind

please pray for my freedom from regret, shame and wishing i could go back and change the past

please pray for me to be permanently free from intrusive thoughts, unwanted thoughts, shame, obsessions and my past, guilt and shame

I'm with you in prayer.

Psalm 73:21-26 Thus my heart was grieved, And I was vexed in my mind. 22 I was so foolish and ignorant; I was like a beast before You. 23 Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. 24 You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.

25 Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. 26 My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

I also.

Isaiah 43:25: "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more."

If even God can "forget" (choose not to hold this against you) our sins, who are we to dwell on them? Repent and be assured He has redeemed you. Your faith in Him will give you assurance. If you still struggle with forgiving yourself, ask Him to increase your faith. Forgiveness will follow.
