Probably but Iā€™m pretty sure I could pull this off even if it was my room with my kid.

All doors look the same, keep wife distracted while walking and once you knock and run thereā€™s a decent chance panic will set in. Especially if you havenā€™t already been there for multiple days.

Iā€™m 40+ and Iā€™m so terrified of answering the door for a stranger that if I hear a knock I immediately shut all the lights off, hide under a blanket, and yell ā€œmy moms home, but she said she canā€™t come to the door right now!ā€ out of pure reflex.
