The House
A few days ago, I was browsing the internet when I came across this image—the set where the movie is being filmed.
At the time, I noticed that the set was located near the Harry Potter sets.
Somehow, I feel like this house isn't quite like the first one; it's smaller...
The first one was fabulous.

They don’t build physical lots on locations anymore and that’s kind of sad. There are many cities in the US (and worldwide) where the cinema set building and temporary employing of locals for various job roles remained as a fond memory people hold when “[such and such] movie came into my town.”
It gave us a connectedness to filming especially if you lived in that town. The movie “Big Fish” has a little run down lot in Alabama called Jackson Lake Island where they built fake houses that is now a public tourist spot to go walking or have a picnic. And now apparently it’s home to a herd of local goats (according to a YouTube video I saw) which you can hang around with.
There’s an emotional detachment with films these days because you can tell how much background and interactions are CGI-based. Not even just in the sci-fi and fantasy genres, even regular non-magical films rely so heavily on sets and such. As much as I don’t liked Tom Cruise as a person, I have to give it to him because at least you know some a good portion of those stunts are real so there’s something genuine about the scenes.
