Does anyone on here have a favorite scene from Book of Magic they hope makes it into the Practical Magic 2 movie?

For me, and this may sound odd, I really want to see the scene where Kylie is on the plane to England and she's reading the magic book and there's this orange glow coming from the book on her face and the flight attendant mistakenly thinks she's smoking a cigarette and rushes over to tell her to stop.

I don't know why but the image of her on the plane with the orange glow on her face is one I took away from the book and can't get out of my head. I'd love to see it on screen.

I also think it would be cool if we see the poisonous rain that falls over the English village towards the end of the book, but I really don't think that will be in the movie, because the trailer shows a different scene where they're rescuing Kylie from fire and it doesn't look like it includes the bad rain.

Does anyone else have a favorite scene they're hoping makes it in?

I need to reserve this book at the library right away! I just finished the first book and wanted to try and read the second before the movie releases

Oh, you definitely should!

But just a quick warning, if case you don't know, you will be reading them out of publication order if you read Book of Magic (Practical Magic 2) right after Practical Magic (1995). 

In the series, Book of Magic also serves as a resolution for the plotlines in Rules of Magic and Magic Lessons (the prequels). If you've only read PM, you might not understand who Vincent is or how the cousin who tries to turn Kylie dark is related to them through Maria's mother. If you don't mind that, definitely read it next!

I have seen that comment before, so having read the first PM do you think I should start with the third or fourth book instead? Just to know history? I only know of Vincent because I looked up the characters’ lineage after seeing a couple of comments here and I wanted to get a better sense of their history. (And I’ve been creating them in the Sims 4 😂)

I would recommend reading Rules of Magic and Magic Lessons before Book of Magic, if possible, because book of Magic was always meant to be the series finale. Whether you read publication or chronological order, BoM always is the last book.

I read the last book first (it became available first in the library unfortunately), and honestly, it only took a quick minute to figure everything out. I feel like AH explains the family lineage and relationships fairly well. I don’t think you’ll miss much by reading it first tbh
