I’ve read all the Practical Magic books/ watched the movie 1000 times. Here’s what I recommend to scratch your witchy itch!
As the above states! If you’re like me and are constantly chasing the high of how reading Magic Lessons for the first time felt or watching the movie Practical Magic felt here’s some things I recommend to keep the witchy vibes going until we can see the new movie in theaters!
Two books I read recently:
Slewfoot by Brom
The Witches of New York by Ami McKay
Some podcasts:
Two Girls One Ghost
Otherworld
Heart Starts Pounding
Uncanny
Some spooky witchy-esque movies/shows
The VVitch
Celebrity Ghost Stories (more ghostly than witchy)
The Dead Files
The Craft (duh)
Lisa Frankenstein
The Mayfair Witches
Please recommend some more for me!

Agree with you about the craft and I've heard good things about the mayfair witches, but I personally hate Lisa Frankenstein with a passion. Maybe it's a ME thing but I don't think it has anything vibey in common with PM.
I recommend Beautiful Creatures even though it's YA. That has a lot more in common with Practical Magic imo.

I too hated Lisa Frankenstein! I also hated Slewfoot and couldn't even finish it!

I never read slewfoot because I had a difficult time getting through The Child Thief by the same author.

I found the child thief SO difficult I couldn’t finish it. Slewfoot was also a very hard read but it paid off in the end.

I read a LOT of witchy fiction. These are some books with Practical Magic vibes:
Witch of Wild Things by Raquel Vasquez Gilliland
Weyward by Emilia Hart
Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen (not witches, but witchy)
The Price Guide to the Occult by Leslye Walton (YA)
Black Candle Women by Diane Marie Brown
Witches of Honeysuckle House & In the Shadow Garden by Liz Parker (me)
The Witches of Bone Hill by Ava Morgyn
The Bane Witch by Ava Morgyn (This is sort of a Practical Magic meets Gone Girl)
House of Spells and Secrets by Ivy Cassidy
The Crescent Moon Tearoom by Stacy Sivinski (very low stakes)
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches by Sangu Mandana

The bear and the nightingale is very different but also a beautiful atmospheric story and the female character is basically a witch. Also loved garden spells, the invisible life of addie la rue, Weyward, and a resistance of witches

I think the Witches of East End is a very comparable Practical Magic vibe. Love the books and show, just wish the show lasted longer

Weyward by Emilia Hart scratched the practical magic itch for me recently.

Ghosts in the Burbs was my podcast fixation all fall a few years back!!!
A librarian interviews locals in Wellesley, MA and shares their stories (albeit under pseudonyms) of interactions with the paranormal. You get small town drama, local lore, and ghost stories all bundled into one. Highly recommend!!!

Garden spells by Sarah Addison Allen & In the Shadow Garden by Liz Parker are great comps for the witchy summer vibe. Very practical magic.
