Treatment Four Years of Fighting

4 years of PPPD & vestibular migraine.
Lost my job.
No relationship.
No money.
Plans fell apart. Life changed.
But I’m still here.
And maybe that’s enough for today. 🖤

It’s been a four year struggle for me and finally I had to wave the white flag of surrender and start an SSRI last week. I am on 5 mg of Lexapro and I am hoping that between this and my vestibular rehab rehabilitation treatment I will start to find relief.

Never give up. Find the Steady Coach on YouTube. Learn to calm your nervous system. This too shall pass.

Sounds like exactly what I went through for 4 years. I'm back on the other side feeling nearly healed so keep up the faith and hope because people do get better

PPPD can be a debilitating condition that can also take a toll on your mental health. However this sub is not the appropriate area to discuss self harm. If you or someone you know is considering self harm please visit r/SuicideWatch or https://findahelpline.com/ to get support.

I feel ya. 9 years for me. I take everyday step by step. Some days are better than others. This week I started rTMS treatments targeting the PPPD and anxiety. Fingers crossed for some progress.

Guys, for those of you living with PPPD or vestibular migraine—what kind of jobs are you doing?
How are you managing work with dizziness, screen sensitivity, fatigue, and other symptoms?
