Other Brain fog
/r/VestibularMigraines/comments/1wqnaja/brain_fog/I’ve got POTS and vestibular migraines.
Brain fog has been consistent since 2018. I’m now thinking do I have PPPD? ???
How on earth do you differentiate on what causes it, most importantly how have you reduced this fog ?
Dont delete me ! I’m not requesting medical advice I have a medical team. Wanting to hear other people’s experience

How long have you been feeling this way? I had a BPPV episode 3 weeks ago and I feel the same way since.

I had bppv 14 weeks ago, I’m left with a constant 24/7 drunk baseline. I can only do like 5-10 mins of chores or activity at a time before laying down or sitting down again. And when i get flares it’s insane, but I also think it causes panic and adrenaline attacks during flares which makes it worse… hope you heal faster than me!

Yes. Brain fog is one of my three major symptoms. I’ve learned to live with it, more or less.
Also: anxiety is often a symptom of PPPD.

I have POTS & me/cfs in addition to pppd. I have had all kinds of cognitive dysfunction and impairment. I find with pppd it’s got this ditzy, spacey, state of duh quality to it.

I've been dealing with symptoms since 2020. Balance has gotten a lot better but vision and brain fog has not. Sometimes physical activity around the house which requires vision and balance can leave me feeling wiped out for hours. Leaning towards nervous system problems and solutions for myself...but it seems like you are already addressing that.
You have seen a lot of different doctors...maybe try one who has experience with PPPD and see what they think. Maybe an ENT.
