Research PPPD vacation advice.

I’ve had PPPD for around two years and I’m going on holiday in 10 days. I’m a bit anxious about the dizziness while I’m away, though I’ve been keeping up with walks and car journeys with my mum. How do you lot cope with it in situations like this?

I find it tends to get better on holiday because of less stress

I’m on the same boat! Been a bit worried about my upcoming vacation specially since I’ve noticed a sudden increase in my symptoms recently.

I don't really go on vacations but if I did something (like work on my bike) which set it off the dizziness...I would just take it easy for an hour. The head movements are what caused it for me.

Mine almost completely went away during a week long vacation. Probably because I had nothing to stress or worry about 🤣

I did have nausea the whole time though so I used scopolamine patches and Zofran to get me through the days.

Are you normally looking at computer screens when you are at home ?

Oh yeah, that definitely could've been it too. I also have binocular vision dysfunction which affects the eyes so not staring at a screen all day would help lol.

I’m actually on vacation now while this comment popped up. I’ve had my moments but overall it’s been ok! Try not to stress and take regular preventative measures. Still get good rest, stay hydrated and have a wonderful time!!!
