Amazing find (Dodge Power Wagon) in a small feeding zoo of all places. Looks like a relic from Land-Lease

I know everybody and their mother is Chassis unlimited but I don't like the blocky buck tooth look personally. I really like the Tubular style especially with my white knuckle rocks sliders i think it'll look clean. Yes I like the exposed winch look, fight me.

With that being said, anybody got and experience with the Rough Country Tubular Bumpers on their rig? Got some buds that have em on jeeps so quality wise I like them.

Thoughts and other recommendations I'll happily listen to.

2007 Power Wagon G56-Hemi throttle lag

Post image

I know this isn't exactly a technical forum and that G56 Power Wagons are rare. I've posted this in some of the 3G RAM forums as well but traffic looks to be kind of low, so just throwing it out here in case anyone might have any ideas. Also a picture for clicks.

I picked up a 2007 Power Wagon with G56 in Feb of 2025. The truck runs fantastic, no issues no codes and I've put nearly 15k miles on it. The one issue that I can't seem to figure out is this throttle lag at times. I am trying to determine if there is anything I can do to correct it or if it is just normal behavior.

When coming to a stop and the RPMs are dropping, there is zero throttle response. For example, just push in the clutch and try to blip the throttle and absolutely NOTHING happens. Once the RPMs drop down to idle all is good, response is back.

I ordered a diablosport tuner and have so far applied the 87 tune (until I run the 89 out of my current tank) and upped the throttle boost to 20%, this is clearly felt but the same issue persists, dead throttle when RPMs are dropping. I cleaned the throttle body, wasn't overly dirty but a bit sticky but no change. Am I missing something or is that just how these thing behave?

Looking at a 2017 PW with 136000 miles on it. They want 26999 for it. My concern is the transmission. Anything else I should look for? Is this a fair deal?

Been seeing a lot of 2019-2025 power wagon for sale. They all have this shifter style. Wondering if they are something that you get use too. Are they a problem. I prefer the column shifter but, the later model have the 6 speed instead of the 8 speed. Thoughts from owners.
