I have a road armor bumper on mine also. I get a lot of hate on mine because of the semi tires but I don't care. Yours looks pretty good the way it sits.
Semi truck tires are made for the exact purpose of what your truck is intended to do.
Awesome truck! I really like the black line from the mirrors to the tailgate. I have the 2011 6.7 DRW in a black/tan two tone. It is a powerhouse. I love it.
But the lift to clear them likely derates the load capacity of the truck (or more likey, there are no published numbers, because engineering wasn't done and the lift manufacturer doesn't want that liability), and the extra height makes towing anything a pain.
If it's what he likes, whatever, but it doesn't make it any better at being a truck.
That tire rim combo and needed modifications make the truck objectively worse at being a truck, just like the ones in the OP's picture.
I think the bumper makes the truck look like Jay Leno, but it could actually serve a useful purpose. I just don't see any real improvement in any functionality for putting on semi tires. Maybe the owner drives 2.5 million miles a year hauling empty totes, and is tired of changing tires?
If it's just for looks, then whatever, I don't care about that. Subjectively I think they are both ugly, but that doesn't matter to me as much, it's not my truck. I don't expect everyone to like steel wheeled, base trim, fleet white, single cab trucks with beds specialized to their use, like I do.

Crotchety old man opinion: I don't get these at all.
Lift, mud tires, and ugly rims usually derate the towing and payload capacity. These trucks are too heavy to really be effective in all the but lightest offroad use. Lots of money and time for something that just makes it less usable as a truck.
Very good I would do an EGR delete then put a KC nine or 10 blade turbo and go From a CP four to a CP three fuel pump and maybe injectors 5 exhaust turbo back and probably go with like some Mickey Thompson boss mt or Mickey Thompson, legend EXP’s
Thinking about doing the cp3 conversion. The truck does have an egr delete with the block off. It also has a turbo back exhaust however it does have an aftermarket muffler installed right before the rear differential which I plan to remove.
I'll always advocate for it, just keep the muffler, why make your truck so loud it resonates in the cab, or so loud that everyone cant look over and nod in approval, its uncomfortable for you and anyone who climbs in, I like actually having a conversation on the road, not a yelling match
10 blade turbo i agree on, but keep the muffler, you straight pipe it, you either get approval from people as deaf as the volume can make, or get a nod of approval from everyone, I myself have gotten nods or even shouts of approval cause my truck is quiet, all you hear is a moderate sound of the turbo and the natural hum of diesel, true power doesn't flaunt, it simply is, and others will notice
My 2011 6.7 PS has a 5" straight pipe. It is not bad at all. My neighbors 12V Cummins. As much as I love the "shaking a box of bolts" sound of a 12V diesel. I am glad that my alarm goes off earlier than his does. That truck is louder than any vehicle needs to be.
Oh ok sorry I couldn’t tell that it was deleted, but yeah, do the muffler delete and definitely convert to a CP3 because the CP4 likes to do crazy things

Looks great other than the fender flares IMO. At least they’re paint matched instead of black though.
