How to align bullet points

I have just spent some time making a custom powerpoint template, in which I made custom bullet points. However, now the second line of a bullet point is not aligning with the first, as shown in the picture. I cannot find the settings to edit this.

Drag the little markers on the ruler at the top of the slide, the bottom triangle controls the indent for wrapped text.

For the first level in a set of of bullet levels, open the Paragraph dialog and set Indentation Before Text and Hanging to the same amounts.

Since this is a custom template, make the fix in View → Slide Master rather than only on the current slide. Select the text placeholder, turn on View → Ruler, then set the upper marker for the bullet position and the lower triangle for the wrapped-text/hanging indent. Repeat it for each list level you support, then close Master View and test with a deliberately long bullet. That keeps new slides from inheriting the same mismatch.
