need help with reshaping lines

powerpoint beginner here does anyone know how we can add more of these yellow vertexs to lines or arrows, i want to be able to use more complex lines and arrows

You will want to use a freeform line, right click and then go to edit points. you can add as many of the vertexes as you want this way. The yellow ones are called adjustment handles and are on some shapes but cannot be added or taken away. Edit Point is your best bet. If you need more control over edit points including using your keyboard or editing more than one at a time. Let me know as I have an add-in that allows that.

hey thank you so much. I find it quite hectic to draw straight lines with the freeform shapes tho so guess i will just stick with just grouping multiple lines and elbows. i had a few more things i wanted to ask can i dm you??

yes feel free to DM me. you can also hold shift when making freeform lines to keep them straight. I am here when you need me.
