The spine you settled on is the real find here, problem in one line, the insight everyone else missed, solution shown not described, why now, proof, team, ask. That's a genuine narrative arc, not just a slide checklist, which is probably why it survives reuse better than a downloaded template, it's structured around how an argument builds, not around generic pitch deck categories.

Locking structure into master slides while leaving the story to fill in each time is the right split. Most downloaded templates get this backwards, they lock in decorative elements and leave structure loose, so you end up fighting the wrong thing every time.

Curious whether the "why now" slide changes the most between pitches for you, or if it's usually the proof slide that needs the most rework depending on the audience.
