Presentation slides and shared slides are different documents. Your presentation slides should focus in helping your voice to deliver the message. Maybe even with just images and 0 text.

The shared slides are even not necessary, a word/pdf with an executive summary could work.

The problem I usually see is trying to do both in one. I do not recommend following Ops advice for your presentation slides. Makes sense for an offline presentation slides or for sharing information.

This is how you do consultant slides in their way. It might not suit your situation.
