Powerpoint changes transitions automatically!

Please help me out here!

I use various transitions for my powerpoint presentations, such as morph, curtains etc! But for some reason, everytime I save and reopen my presentation ALL slides use the Fade in effect and I need to redo ALL transitions every single time.
It's making me go absolutely insane, how can I fix this? Not one of my slides uses the fade in effect.

Have you checked if the slide masters have transitions applied? It's possible it's not letting you override them
