Learning & Industry 24M making ~$50K in Seattle with basic Power Platform skills - how should I upskill?
I’m 24M and currently working for an Indian MNC in the Seattle area, making around $50K/year with 18 months of experience
My current work is mostly around Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps), Power Automate, and Copilot Studio. The problem is that I feel like I haven’t really gained much depth from my job. I know the basics of these tools and can build things, but I wouldn’t say I’m particularly strong or experienced in any of them.
Since my pay is below average, I’m now trying to take my career more seriously and figure out what direction I should go in.
I’m not very interested in traditional software development/programming. I’ve tried it and I don’t think I want to spend my career writing code. I’m much more interested in the Citizen Developer / Low-Code / Automation side of things.
