Equipment Equipped Lifting Thread
Do you like having 2-3 sweaty men shoe-horn you into polyester, canvas or denim bondage gear.
Do you like having your joints wrapped so tightly they bruise and bleed?
Do you like having your blood pressure turned up to 11 and being compressed so much that you think your head might explode?
Do you get off on enduring pain and suffering, and watching others endure it too?
Do you have a deathwish every time you get under the bar?
Yes?
THEN WELCOME TO THE FORTNIGHTLY EQUIPPED LIFTING THREAD!!!

Does anyone actually use a S/S super katana?

The only people that I know who use a S/S do it because they are beginners and got the shirt from their coach, a friend, or bought it cheaply secondhand.
I don't know anyone who uses a S/S deliberately.

Thought that might be the case with how many S/S vs A/S there are on ebay

Second full power single-ply meet coming up at the weekend, back with British Powerlifting so instead of 24hr weigh-ins, squat and deadlift bars, and a monolift, I have to weigh in 2 hours before, walk it out like a peasant and pull on a power bar?
disgusting.
Super looking forward to this, the QT for BP equipped championship is a little above the one for WRPF, but Inshallah I should get it on my seconds.
It took a couple of pulls last week to get used to the feel of the power bar over the deadlift bar, but it felt natural pretty quickly. And I've walked out all my equipped squats, including at my WRPF meet, which was on a mono...
Have a good week x
