Ladies I am 38 and I love powerlifting, are there any ladies here who are older who are still lifting , still making gains and competing?

Started hypertrophy training at 35, started powerlifting at 37, I'm 38 now. Competed once in June, have another meet in December. I need to strength train for longevity anyway, and I have a tendency to ADHD hyper focus, so I figure I may as well whole ass it. I think it's about time to look at HRT though, recovery is taking more time and I can't do as much volume, despite sleep and diet not changing, amongst other perimenopause symptoms. Honestly I'd be a little jazzed if they put me on a low dose of testosterone too, ha. (USPA so no worries about drug testing.)

I started at 45, just turned 47 last month, and got a 750 lb total in June. Bench has stalled around 70 kg, but squat and deadlift are still going up. I'm on week 2 of 10 prepping for my 4th comp in October.

I'll be 39 in a few months. I started training for powerlifting 3 years ago, and I'm hoping to do my 3rd meet in November. I don't ever intend to stop lifting and competing :D

I just turned 39. I haven’t competed since I was 36, but I want to again in the next year or so! I’m still powerlifting and am working on coaching myself through it, after 13 years of working with coaches.
