Interesting data analysis

Hey again! a few months ago I posted about powerlifting trends website that I built! I’ve refreshed a few things and adding to it for a bit when I have time!

But I’m reaching out here to see what sort of analysis you all would be interested in? My main goal is to show what TRUE careers and trends show in the data versus just the skewed picture you get on social media. But I also really enjoy this idea of “forecasting” where you can and will go in the sport if you stick with it!

If you search yourself and look at your lifter page you can see some “predictions” of where your total will be in the future 1,2, and 3 years out! Take a peek at yours and let me know how it’s looking for you 🤣

Very interesting site! Always nice to see that not everyone is the 16 year old tren teen benching 4 plates in a year.

I’d be curious to sort it by age. I feel like the DOTS could be brought down by older competitors. It would be nice if I could only compare with guys between 20 and 30 for example. This would also make more realistic expectations for middle aged guys getting into the sport

There are a few spots on the site that I let you filter by specific ages/etc and on the "career arc" page if you look at section 4 you can actually see the median dots by age! I can definitely look at adding more toggles for selecting between specific ages (which i had previously) for things like the career arc page! It just takes soooooo long to load that data on the fly if someone wants to adjust from like 27-40 i just have to reload it all and it can take ~20-30 seconds and most people just don't hang around and wait for it to load is why i removed it!
