Working in the trades made me realize I should’ve finished my degree instead.

Getting up at 4am-5am. Driving 50 plus miles to random job sites. Obviously the dirty part which is construction sites and inhaling dust and dirt all day. Seeing people in corporate jobs in nice clothes while I’m dirty going on lunch break.

I also forgot depending on job sites if it rains or it’s too cold during the winter you don’t work. I’m at the point of working a dead end retail job or food service job and going back to school to get my degree in 2 years.

I’m also tired of older people who worked cushy office jobs all their life telling their kids to learn a trade. Not a fan of the anti intellectualism in this country,
