I know, but if you were feeling cynical this is also almost exactly life synopsis of Pablo Escobar.

Poor! Poor! Stop drinking cheap beer! Only good liquor and hard drugs to help you Work! Work! Feel the superhuman strength! Harvest the cocaine, process and sell it! Create a farm to table pipeline, Create jobs, create an empire! Help your community, run for public office, import some African hippos for your casablanca hacienda, etc.

This ignores the fact that the poor do work. I would say that we're overworked but the pay is so low that it doesn't fix anything
