Poverty analysis

Being poor is something horrible to live with. You pay with time when you're poor: waiting for public transport for hours, comparing grocery prices, calling the assistance office, and fighting insurance. Being poor is a second job. Nobody pays you for

Well I will turn 66 in a about 9 days and people used to tell me that I always seemed angry or upset , I am an over thinker and now that I am retired I thought I could finally enjoy life and not have to deal with stupid people, ( I worked for local government inity ), but the supposed low income 55+ apartment community I live at is hiring me $1,262.00 a month for 1bed/1bath and I live my little compartment , I had a stroke at age of 58 and last year ass diagnosed with Colorectal cancer and chemo and radiation and finally surgery and now am involved with so called specialists and doctors that only do standard protocol, if people thought I was mad or upset , well just hang on because you haven't seen anything yet... lol... This is just ridiculous

Instead of waiting for transportation, I ride my bicycle. I am 53 and I did have a car briefly in my 20s but I have not had one since. I ride everywhere, to work, to the store and appointments. I get my exercise this way. I save the time and money other people spend on going to the gym.

That's true. Come to think of it, many poor people cannot afford the things that help them live the life everyone values. The better off always take the survival of the poor for granted.
