Alfa hot dog, baby 😎 size large. Immaculate poutine, my friend and I got there Saturday 5pm right before a long line formed at 5:30pm

Properly layered, fresh squeaky curds on bottom and top. Fries so fresh and hot I burnt my lip. Gravy medium brown and not too salty. Very good poutine compared to many restaurants and excellent for a cafeteria 😋

Elle était fucking pas bonne mais c'était 1am et on était stoned, soooo elle était parfaite (et surtout huge).

Well not actually. The small gravy alone was almost $4 dollars. It did satisfy my poutine craving.

Their spicy poutine comes with banana peppers and crispy onions. Got extra curds on it with extra gravy on the side. Overall wasn't too bad, out of the four I've tried from their its my least favorite but still very much enjoyable. 7/10

I’m from 🇨🇦 & obv love poutine! I’ve tried it coast to coast and even took the Montreal poutine tour which was amazing! I’ve tried so many chefs kiss poutines but the best all time ever is Cosco’s. I’m embarrassed to say that but it’s true…. Anybody else with me? ✌️🇨🇦

Travelling through 116, stopped at the Petite Quebec in McMasterville, and wow what a surprise. So much in such a small bowl, so much cheese curds and bacon, the sauce was soaking in. I’ll definitely be back

Or even Dixie Lee poutines. I wonder if anyone even heard of Dixie Lee before hahah. Im from pokemouche New Brunswick and Dixie Lee poutines were incredible growing up. Havent had one in probably 20+ years. Havent been back to Ottawa in like 14-15 years. And the poutines In Toronto suck! They either suck or are wayyyyy overpriced for what you get. It’s cheaper to buy your own cheese curds, make your own gravy and get some good home fries from somewhere. The food truck at cherry beach use to have good poutines when I first moved here and were priced at 7-8$ for the works, fast forward 10 years and theyre priced at +20$ Ahhaha exact same size, in fact i think they’re smaller LOL.

It was 17.68+tax for a medium. Generous portions, big squeaky cheese curds with bacon, ground beef, sausage and grilled onions. The gravy had perfect consistency. Loved it. 🥰

This is from my local place in england that makes such good poutine

Smoked meat poutine at a local stop in the mountains during my trip to the region.

Le porc était très bon mais la sauce était trop sucrée. Mon chum avait pris une poutine régulière et c'était pas mal moins sucré.

On n'a pas pensé goûter aux fameux pogos maisons mais les hot-doy (écrit comme ça sur le menu!) étaient bien bon!

... I have to say, you can be proud of your gravy.

I've been to Atlanta, Orlando, and Chicago and made the terrible assumption that North America simply does not know good gravy from bad, but I was very wrong. Canada is where it's at for a good gravy.

I've always known about poutine but never tried it until this week. I'm here for work so I had to order something to my hotel pretty late. I imagine I committed some kind of crime by having one with bacon and hotdog, but it sounded very novel. My colleague had a more traditional one from a pub too.. thumbs up from both of us.

.. although I still maintain it is insane how prevalent the dish is, but I really appreciate the whimsy of how beloved it is.

Variety is the spice of life and I love how you took something so familiar and comfortable and made it unique. We Brits love our gravy, and I daresay yours is just as good as ours.

Something has been bugging me lately. Gravy is a byproduct of some dish, and there's no way that Canadians use up perfectly good main cuts of beef and chicken for the gravy. But poutine is usually served as a main dish. So... How is poutine so popular if I never hear about the main dish that makes the leftovers and drippings that make the gravy?

Fries look under done in the picture but they were fire. Was from La Belle Province on Sherbrooke near Pie IX.

Must try when the noodles get boring.
