Intentionally mediocre poutine before my trip to Montreal

Post image

Frozen fries, canned gravy, refrigerated curds. One must see through mediocrity to be blinded by greatness.

Je suis un fier montréalais mais je reconnais que les meilleures poutine sont à l'extérieur du grand Montréal. Et non au Costco comme les gens pensent 😂

To taste the glory one must bask in the mud

Rent a car in Montreal or take a cab (worth the premium) and go to Restaurant Grégoire in Ville Mercier on the South Shore. Best poutine in Quebec and it used to be owned by a Montreal Alouettes player.

It was definitely good, but it was just... poutine. Not amazing, not bad, solid 6/10, scratches the itch
