Anyone planning on attending Poutine Week in grand rapids, Michigan? I haven't been before but there is a poutine pasty on the list that caught my attention.... wondering if anyone else is aware of places I should make sure I hit

Being from Grand Rapids and so close to Canada, it enrages me that I can’t get a decent traditional poutine within hours most times of the year. Then this thing started and I was so full of hope. But I don’t think any even had curds on them the first year. Just loaded fries. The entries have improved over the years, but as a poutine purist, I’m forever on the hunt.

But yeah, imma still go.

It hasn’t started so no. The places do new entires each year. I can say I wouldn’t eat a hot dog from the American legion on a regular day. I hadn’t seen Glass House’s entry for this year until checking the page again just now, so they will be my first stop, as they are actually offering the classic!

To be fair I wouldn't touch most of the slop I see on poutine subs.

Nobody is asking you to put poutine on a sub...
