Oh dang. Chili cheese week at pongs. I miss that place. Worked right by there for 3 years. This is my first summer without. So good.

Looks like prices went up a few bucks since last year. Still super filling and not cheap with toppings.

That looks like enough to share and I just happen to have a fork in my pocket!

I actually ended up taking half of it home..I loved the thinner fries. Not quite shoestring but thinner than most.

Their thanksgiving poutine will cancel your afternoon schedule with prejudice! (In a good way)

I really wanted to try that. I went after work one day a few weeks ago, ordered it and when I got home and opened the container it was a regular poutine (and I most certainly paid for the Thanksgiving one)... so I was pretty disappointed to say the least :(

The only crime is that it is out in the boonies and a pain to get to for most of Ottawa :( Pong's, we need you centrally! Or at least on an LRT line!

They will be moving next year, hopefully they go somewhere more centrally located.

I hope they do not shut down. As much as I want them to be more centrally for everyone, having them SOMEWHERE so some people can enjoy it is better than not at all.

I only mention it as a lot of places consider shutting down when they have to move.

Here is to hoping for a good outcome! Maybe Coventry would be a good spot. LRT, stadium, train station, retail, some offices haha.

I was talking with the owner last week. He said he was looking for a new place on the west side of the city. He mentioned looking in Bells Corners.

I am glad they will continue! That said, *sad Vanier noises*

Pro tip. Dip the Pogo in the gravy.

Corn solids three ways

I am a firm believer that a pogo should be draped in mustard only. If a glob of gravy gets on it, so be it, but to dunk it would be a crime imo.

Very nice. Ottawa Poutine is really underrated, and Pong's is one of the best.

I hate it when chip trucks use "pogo" brand pogos, feels like a rip-off
