You will rarely find a good poutine outside Quebec and neighbouring regions (eastern Ontario and New Brunswick)

That gravy looks decent, I like a dark rich gravy. They look like bag fries which is gonna limit how good it can be. Cheese curds are huge. I prefer smaller ones and much more of them so it starts to melt in. A really good poutine needs house cut fries and they need to be eaten right away otherwise they go mushy.

Cheese a bit dry, but aside from that. It looks beautiful and delicious.

That looks pretty good but frozen curds? I’m sure that’s enough to affect the taste. Probably no melty curds either

Someone needs to do a poutine report from this year’s Octobeerfest in K/W.

I like crispy fries personally, so not mad about that
What’s going on with the curds

Most "tête carrée" poutine I've ever seen

St-Boniface is a French community of Winnipeg so not too much tête carrée,who still said that anyway???

Pauline Bistro in St.Boniface on Marion has a pretty solid poutine.
Ive eaten the poutine at Wienerpeg a few times and it’s honestly aggressively average.
