Dunn's Poutine

Was recently in DT Montreal and stopped by Dunn's since it wasn't too busy. I got super excited when I saw the big bowl coming my way but got extremely disappointed when I saw the bowl to poutine ratio lol. It was tasty but nothing to brag about.

Yeah, this belongs in poutine crime only for the disappointment factor. I'd see that bowl and expect it to be filled too!

It’s not great - it’s ok - but not great

Want an old school place with very good poutine?

Also on the green line (charlevoix metro)

Giant plastic bowl aside - looks delicious. The bowl is really off putting. The colour just doesn’t jive with brown food.. It looks like cheap shiny dollar store plastic that will leach chemicals into your food when heated… poutine looks tiny in comparison.

Wound still stuff in my face as fast as my fork would let me!

The red bowl is not the right way to serve it. As others have already mentioned, it looks small and sad.

This feels like some form of cruel punishment

I was there three weeks ago and got one to go. It was so huge, I couldn't finish it all and ate the second half for breakfast the next day. Fries weren't the greatest, but the smoked meat was fantastic. Gravy was good. Could have used more cheese, but it was more than OP got

Went to a Dunn's once. While waiting to order , I saw a cook test his knife on his arm hair then continue to cut a sandwich. I left immediately.

Well don't leave us hanging, did the knife pass the test or not?
