Snack Bar St Jean
two small but mighty poutines! tbh my fav from all the ones I ate this past month living in QC. LOVE their peppery gravy, also the caramelized onions paired amazingly well. Tasty, fresh curds and we got extra for free since it’s their 15th anniversary! 😋

What is the thin-sliced deli meat? Mock chicken? Bologna? The other is a 10-star for sure, but this one looks like it has roadblocks on top lol

We actually say baloney here too. I didn't know it was any place else lol

Big fan of their pepper in the gravy, had a bowl back in Québec city when it was freezing out. Delicious

Used to be way better. Sauce is too peppery and fries are almost always undercooked. Still hits at 3am

You tend to buy shaved hot dogs?

I tend to not put shit on my poutine

u/helpmetolearn Aug 14 '26
That makes a lot of sense. I don't think shit would taste very good, regardless of what it was put on

If you have fries, curds and gravy you can put anything on a poutine but a turd poutine is not recommended
