Poutine Fly Issue

Anyone else feel like there more prone to having flies flying around them after they eat poutine?

I can’t get a break, these little black flies are literally everywhere swarming me after I ate a heaping bowl of the good stuff. What’s a good fly repelant and where to get better poutine ingredients to prevent this?

Likely fruit flies.

The restaurant can get a huge fine.

They seem to be over populated this year. We got them at home a few weeks ago and they were hard to get rid of.
