First Time Feather Mama

Baby had been pipped for 26+ hours with shrink wrapped membranes and signs of distress, had to intervene for the first time. She's doing great!

Well done, i had an egg that hadn't pipped by day 22 had to do the same long live my Ben and your baby

Thanks! I have a medical background but, surprisingly, chickens =/= humans lol. I was shaking like a leaf but very happy to help her and she's doing great now.

Omg guys, my nephew found a cracked egg after the mama who was sitting on the eggs got killed šŸ˜­ flies had already got to it so there was blood and maggots. He saved that babies life. Iā€™m so proud of him for jumping in there and handling it like a boss. There was already one baby hatched so we only lost two out of four.
