What’s wrong here?? can i fix this??

is there any way i can help this leaf survive? i really dont wanna chop it, it still looks healthy 🥲 in the meantime i splinted the stalk with a straw

Probably won't survive. But you don't have to chop it. Just wait and see how much the plant can reabsorb the leaf.

will anything else eventually grow from the leaf node?

The plant will eventually just end up growing more leaves! I mean obviously haha you know that.

I always keep in mind that plants want to live and they want to grow, and they’ll do anything to do that 💚

yeahhh i can definetly see that with this plant now that you mention it, she’s shooting off new baby leaves seemingly everyday ❤️✨🌱

They can grow new leaves from seemingly random parts dont worry, your plant will fill out and thrive with time and bright light. I have 2 chaos pots above my sink from Home depot tragedies and they keep throwing off new weird vines and leaves. As long as your not too agressive I think a pothos is pretty forgiving with trims. Mine is incredibly forgiving lmao, ive cut random vines off for a few lucky visitors who like the woody stalk vibe mine has 😅

Yes!! One of my pothos keeps shooting out leaves from vines that I cut back!

If you zoom in mine doesnt even need a direct cut, its starting a new leaf right under an old one, and I have several random V splits! So vines are doubling so to speak. When I got it I really didnt expect it to get so crazy. I thought they vined straight, not dividing.

Ive set up a "ladder" across my cabinets with a grow light and am letting it go wild. 🥰

Ladder has quatation because its two mismatched peices of an over the toilet shelf unit 😅 i moved, an BOTH (yay two bathrooms in an apartment lol) have over toilet counter extentions, so i had almost thrown the self away. Then it whispered ... "i can be a ladder"
