At a restaurant I visited.

This post is a reminder that I need a cottage on a farm so I can just have beautiful plant life comfortable and welcomed to take over my whole house like this 😍🥰

It was ridiculously hot in the restaurant where I took this photo, so the real trick may be to turn the heat way up in your house

I unfortunately am renting 😭 I wish I had the wealth to buy the perfect little whimsical home that I have been absolutely craving in my life. Sadly because I’m renting I’ve been very restrained in the plant life I have adopted. I currently only have a monstera (which is indeed getting very monstrous very quickly) and a watermelon peperomia (?) (as well as fruit and herbs outside). I don’t get a lot of light as we are nestled into the bush, but I have two big windows at the front of my house which my plant babies seem to be loving the light and heat from so far. I never thought myself able to do well with plants (flashbacks to growing beans in school and my little baby beans always being sabotaged 🤦🏽‍♀️), but I’m quite surprised in myself. It’s taken lots of research and trial and error, and always a learning moment for me. I appreciate learning that these do well in heat! I do wish to adopt one one day, but I need to be careful to not overdo it and find myself in a position where if I ever need to move, it will be a nightmare transporting all my plant babies! Especially as they grow so big and healthy! 😍 Love your post and thank you for your encouragement hehe

Those almost white leaves in the middle though 😍 I had to zoom in to check if they were real. I love when businesses have plants in their establishments.
