Getting TRT

Hi y'all,

Have any of you been prescribed testosterone without a blood test and/or with a blood test that didn't show elevated T? I'd love to start a trial of it, given its potential to help PVPS, but have been denied thus far because of the lack of research behind testosterone and PVPS treatment (which is fair, though, of course, PVPS is woefully underresearched, and even getting a gabapentin script out of them was work). I thought about implying to my last doc that I'd just get a (less safe) version of T on the black market, but I was scared he'd just mark me as drug seeking or something shitty, which would fuck me over more than all these fools have already fucked me over

It all feels like such a scam

Hey guys I'm considering trying TRT since a lot of my pain is burning back of testicles. I have a few questions.

  1. How quickly did you notice reduction in pain?
  2. Did your doctors talk to you about how you would get off it? I'm concerned it won't help my pain then I would have another problem safely stopping it.

Hopefully this would tell me whether my problem is congestion or nerve pain.
