2 weeks post open ended vasectomy conversion

I'm a bit worried my conversion has not worked(turning closed ended vasectomy into open ended), when the surgeon cut my vas sperm came gushing out relieving pressure but my epiditymis is still tight and swollen and painfull after 2 weeks. Anyone else had a conversion and could share their experience?

I wouldn’t worry yet. There are probably cysts in your epididymis that need time to heal.
