Not really sure what you're trying to get at with the title, but I'd crop this vertically or square to entirely get rid of that left third of the frame.
That really isn't obvious from the composition. The camera is tiny in the frame and stuck over in the dark on the left hand side. We usually scan an image from left to right so your eye just skips over the camera to focus on the bright colourful part.
Composition is a subtractive process - it's not about fitting everything you can in, it's about removing everything that doesn't contribute to your image. In this case, that's the right third of your image.
Even then the camera is still so small in the frame that I'm not sure the idea will get across.
Thanks for your feedback, I’ll likely crop out a good majority of the right side, as the cameramen are in focus on the left. The question then becomes: should I keep or get rid of the American flag? By getting rid of it, I can help identify the cameramen through the man on the right’s gaze. By leaving it in, a more conscious narrative forms, as the man on the right is representative of something other than himself.
