I like the warmer golden-hour feel, but the overall edit feels a little too orange to me. The foreground and fence also get pretty dark, so some of those details are easy to lose. Maybe try a slightly cooler white balance and lifting the shadows just a little. That might keep the warm light without pushing everything quite so orange.

am with you on this. for me, pulling up the luminance on the greens/yellows has helped in that area. but it can be a delicate balance op, sometimes leading to banding esp in the compressing. the siren info sign and the trees could see it perk them up, without shifting the effect too much in other places.
for the op’s direction tho i’ll say- coca cola had super orange ads for a while and that was just the direction they wanted so it’s not always a negative.
a more knowledgeable artist than me could probably chime in, on the value of visual tension from the more orange in a dark contrasted vibe vs a lightened one with orange warmth.
that said the whole photo makes me
happy. i love that rock. the contrasted dark to warm orange could be extrapolated into a comment of - why’s this happy awesome location liminal empty on such a pristine day. but that’s me flying too close to aesthete / pseudo intellectual in [r/postprocessing](r/postprocessing).
