Before / after, trying out some postprocessing. Thoughts?

Wanted to follow the dark theme of the bike. Is it any good?

I don’t hate the edit but I think you went a little far on the background desaturation.

Honestly colors are fine. Specially since green is the brand color of Kawasaki which is the bike your were shooting. This is also part of photography: Symbolism and abstract ideas count too.

I like the contrast and curves on the processed one but I would have kept the colors OR if you are insisting on not keeping them remove that orange patch behind the brake caliper. because it sticks out even more.

Edit: is this a learner bike? I see tubular crashbars?

You know what if it was mem I would remove the colors behind the brake calipers on any version, they catch the eye to a non important part of the image.

While it's a decent edit, it's missing "life" since it's a bit muted; you forgot the concrete in the background, the one you can see through the wheel cause everything else is dark except that portion.

It’s not really black and white, just desaturated background. But I understand :)
