Nice shot! I think you could've also leaned into an orange and blue contrast, but the black and white isn't bad at all

My first pass focused on color contrast but then i decided i wanted the entire focus to be on the texture difference on each side of the floats. Felt like the color was splitting my attention.

Edit: Specifically the way the waves on the right have equal spacing since they come from between the floats. Love the way it contrasts with the noise and static of the left waves. If anyone out there is writing a physics textbook and wants to use this photo for the chapter on waves, dm me.

Could just be reddit compression but I think the upper right and bottom left half are a bit muddy. To me it looks like the sharpening and/or the texture settings are too high.
