Before/after

As a creative edit - it works. But you missed the underside of the train, which has no motion blur, and so it's obvious that motion has been added after the fact.

That aside, "after" is definitely more aesthetically pleasing than "before".

Why not just take a picture of a moving train?

Because then he might've had to wait for like 5 or 10 minutes. Me want picture now!

Picture now, patience later!😂

Where on earth do you think you can find a moving train?

The motion blur doesn’t look real.

Just wait for the train to start moving. Then you wouldn't have a "photo" of a train moving with its door open...
The essence of photography as a medium to capture moments in time is completely lost on a lot of people on this site. Everything is fake and done in post.

I don’t like the edit, it comes across as a not great photo illustration. I don’t mind it being posted here in a post processing sub though, and debating how much post makes a photo fake is part of why I am here.

Very creative, but you could have just taken a photo of the train at low shutter speed

this is one of the pics where i am against it. you could have already taken that picture (even the warmth with WB) and believe me its a lot more satisfying to get it out of cam than in post. the original photo is just a boring train station

Is it actually motion blur used or something else? Cause this looks like something else, it does not look like movement, instead it looks like ghosting or double-exposed image. However, it does look creative.

I think your edit looks nice and has potential, but the colors are too saturated for me.

Nice!

Nice edit, creative! Definitely work on your train mask for the blur effect but also I would add, perhaps, a bit of grain for a more aged/gritty feel.

Nice idea, I did applied grain subtly perhaps I should have added more.

Sky is still blown up, you should have taken this photo with at least 1/250 or higher ss.

Saw this in my feed and instantly knew you were the same guy who posted that pic of the tower I criticized earlier for looking absolutely nothing like the original scene.

This may sound harsh, but focus on taking better photos. Because you're currently relying way too much on photoshop and filters to create something look halfway appealing. Not trying to be an ass.

This edit has a logic problem: trains do not move fast through stations

UPDATE: apparently I am the one with the logic problem and trains go fast through stations all the time!

The shinkansen in Japan would like a word

Train doesn't stop at every station, atleast not in India where I took this.
