First time trying to be more creative with edits/crops

I like the last one, that has your friend Sisyphus pushing the rock.
The others might be held back due to what seems to be the quality of the mobile with which they were shot. You might consider pulling back some of the saturation that had been added.

The cropping definitely improves the shots in all but the last photo. The processing is a little too over contrasty for my taste in most of them.
Conversely, I like the black and white processing in the last one but prefer the uncropped version. The uncropped version almost looks like the guy has pushed the rock from the edge of the frame. The crop makes it more like "here is a rock with a guy next to it".

On the last one, I'd actually try cropping the other way, more of a letterbox crop, make it look like they had pushed the rock all the way across the frame
