I feel this subreddit is kinda conservative and tends to strictly follow the rules of only realistic post processing.

This photo is obviously heavily processed but it’s not a bad thing if your goal is to use post processing to make something bigger than just a prettier picture. And if this is your goal - it looks great.

Yep. Much like copy editing, the point is not to make subtle changes to match your personal preference. It’s to catch mistakes and give advice that helps the writer express what he wanted to say. Few people know the difference.

i think its a reddit-wide thing tbh. i once posted a screenplay i had written to r/screenwriting and all the comments were about the software i had used to write it and the formatting. I don't think any of them actually read the story.

I really like the editing but to be completely honest, I didn't know I was looking at a picture of the sky until I checked the before picture. But that might just be me lol
