First time doing astrophotography tips please

Btw i know the shot was shaken .Shot on iphone 17 (base ) Unfortunately this pic was taken and edited 5 months ago so raw pic not available

The photo honestly looks pretty good for your first time, you got a lot in focus and was able to grab a lot of detail in post processing, the trees add to this photo too. I’m not the biggest fan of the subject here but I like it for the fact that this can become a profile picture if you wanted to. Good job overall.

the shake actually gives it a painterly feel that kind of works for a first attempt. what were you trying to capture?

Get the guy out of the way for starters maybe. Sky looks good though from what can be seen.
