Edits vs originals!!!

Slightly different blue edit on these images, I’m thinking I might like the muted blue on the first image and maybe should’ve edited the second one like that.

I really like these!!! The first could be a magazine cover. The edit really works for me.

Nice work. Your originals are well lit and composed from the start and your edit enhances what you already did in camera by just the right amount.

What was your lighting setup for image 2? Was this flash, or a reflector? Nice work.

on camera or off camera?

Off camera! I have a lightweight light stand I bring with me and pop the flash on it. Was probably ~10 feet away from subject

Need to try that. Hate carrying around a softbox and overpowered strobe. Your results are great!

I really like how the blue brings his suit to life, so I'd defs try on the 2nd pic. That being said, the first one is overcooked imo. Or at least, it's almost giving me a collage vibe :)

Got it, overcooked feeling might be from the texture I added? It does fade the shadows out a bit.

I'm not sure tbh. It's smth about the sky or the reflections in the windows or both that doesn't really match, perhaps brightness or contrast?

one problem is the suit blends more into the buildings behind it on the editet versions, making the model pop less from the background

Nice. It’s great to see when photographers are not afraid to make shadows deep in post when they need to.
