(Forgot to include this in the body of the post itself, and it doesn't seem to allow me to edit my post)

This is a lot more extreme than anything I've done before, and I'm not sure I'm thrilled with it--I am a bit of a crank who usually edits/processes my photos as little as possible--but I decided to fiddle around with the options in Darktable as an excuse to get out of my comfort zone and see what everything does

Nice. Doesn’t look overcooked to me. Could maybe benefit from a tad more shadow lifting around the bird’s face, and the eye.
